Raising A Glazomaniac

From the author of 1001 Things Series Harry H. Harrison Jr. here is number two.

Being a mom means being a role model.

It’s been said that a child’s first classroom is the home. Hence, his first teacher is always his primary caregiver. So whether its Mom, Dad, Grandparents, aunts or what have you, we try to be careful with our words and with our actions because kids are very exceptional copycats.

At an early age, genetics aside, there’s no denying that he is mine. From his common expressions( hay naku!) ; his tastes in music (adult alternative, pop rock); his love of natural history, sci-fi, fantasy adventure genres are only a few things I know he definitely got from me. Now that he can read and write, I am not surprised that he has caught on to one of my habits, too. Obsessive List Making. Yes, I’m a closet  glazomaniac. And here’s proof that I may be raising one as well.

By the way, #12 on his list is still under negotiation.
